VINCENT HO has worked in different regional marketing roles for more than 10 years. He was posted to various countries, where he encountered a myriad of cultures and advertising collaterals. He has managed strategic planning and execution of data-driven customer-centric marketing campaigns across channels. Simultaneously, he has led teams in sourcing and creating published products (e.g. magazines, books, music across channels and video) and lifestyle merchandise (including FMCGs, jewelleries, fashion accessories, vitamins and skincare products).
Vincent travels extensively across the Asia Pacific region, meeting up with company representatives across industries, creating partnerships and renewing relationships. In his own leisure time, he visits places where work does not bring him. All these first-hand encounters allow Vincent to identify new prospects and keep up with the regional business landscape. More importantly, these experiences brought him closer to a variety of marketing tools and writings. As he also supervised the retail efforts and branding activities in the region, he was exposed to above-the-line, out-of-home and social media marketing.
On the side, Vincent has been consulting and taking on freelance projects. Recently, he has started to gain greater momentum in writing. He has written press releases, promotion and product copies for clients across the region. He also writes feature and creative pieces suitable for lifestyle publications. Since 2013, he has been attending writing seminars and courses in Sydney’s universities. Vincent’s earlier training was in Science and Engineering, thus, he is ready to take up technical and more serious writing projects.
Recently, Vincent has been working with entrepreneurial clients in Food & Beverage, Beer & Wine and Restaurant & Hospitality sectors, where he provided marketing advice and supports. He started with providing copywriting services. Subsequently, clients started to entrust bigger projects like content creation, website building, social media management, media selection and other business supporting activities.
As Vincent is bilingual, he communicates well with clients (of Chinese background) who may be more comfortable using Mandarin. He is comfortable to work with information in Chinese and translate them to suit different business needs. In addition, he stand in the gap between clients and their business associates who do not understand Mandarin.
In 2010, Vincent relocated to Sydney, Australia. Prior to that, he lived and kept abreast with the dynamic pace in Singapore. He also had a stint in Bangkok when he was posted there to improve the Thai business. Ever since, Thailand’s charms have him travelling back countless times.
JVÕRANGE was set up to take on more marketing and writing projects.
